Disney World and my DS

When I heard about this I seriously choked. I am probably one of the biggest Disney parks fan girl you will ever meet. I know everything about anything having to do with Disney parks, I know when to go where, where many Hidden Mickeys are, what rides hold what secrets, and even how to get into some of the most exclusive VIP areas. I am a master. So when I saw these screen shots I nearly passed out.

Disney is working on a program that allows your DS to be a virtual touch screen map and guide of Disney parks! Holy crap…I know! The DS program will also tell you where and when your favorite characters will be appearing, it will offer tips and trivia depending on where you are in the park and parades routes and schedules. This is just too much magic for my brain! Anyways, here are some screen shots of this work in progress.

Disney really is the happiest place on earth. There is nowhere else in the world I would rather be. Ok…after all this excitement, I need to go sit down.

You know, my wife was telling me about something like this, but she couldn’t really give me any big details. We are pretty big Disney freaks as well. I worked there from 1996 to 2001. My wife, sister, and brother in law all work there. We all have or have had annual passes and we go there about twice a month. So if they can work this out and put a system for all the parks, I would so love going to Disneyland even more.

You and I are like twins. I have a Premium Pass to Disneyland and if I don’t go for more than a week, I start having withdrawls. I WANT THIS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Tell me about it. I mean, not that you and I would probably need it, but still, it would be cool just to do while at the park.

I live in Miami. I’ve been to Disney World so many times. Funny thing is I’m usually forced into going. I’m not a big fan of amusement parks, rides or things of that nature, but you seem to love it. So I’m happy for you, Yay

Disney Theme Parks are relatively smoke free environments with the exception of select areas of the parks that are designated as smoking areas. Usually these are slightly out of the way areas so as the smoke does not bother the other guest.

Except at Disneyland. Can you believe they moved the smoking section in Tomorrowland to the place that is in between the Train Station and Autopia. That means that anyone getting off the train has to walk through all the smokers to get to the other rides in that land?
