To basically celebrate the release of the highly anticipated PC title coming out later this year, SPORE, EA and their (smart) marketing team came up with a great way to not only spread the word about the game, but to also do something good for the community in the process.

EA went on the hunt and found 70 celebrities from all walks of fame who were willing to participate in the so-called “Sporelebrity” contest. Each individual is to create their own SPORE creature using the recently released Creature Creator all in the name of charity. The public will then vote on their favorite celebrity creation and the winner of the contest will get $15,000 donated to the charity of his or her choice.

Sounds pretty cool, huh?

Well in that case, you can go ahead a put your vote in for your favorite SPORE creation here! Be wise with your voting…and most of all, be fair. Me? I voted for Brian Crecente’s TickleMeKotaku. Just look at’em. So cute and…odd! Plus, I’m not biased or anything

Some of them I thought were pretty impressive…some others? Not so much. I have to say though, I was expecting more from Stan Lee. Mr. Multi-Limb? C’mon, man…that sounds like something that belongs in a recent post written by whatistechnoagain.
