IGN releases new Zelda movie trailer!

(From IGN.com) Few videogame properties hold the cache of The Legend of Zelda. As a film project, it’s on the scale of Lord of the Rings. But no one has tackled a live-action adaptation of the storied franchise… until today. Production Company Rainfall Films has asked IGN to premiere the very first footage from their live-action Zelda film — a very literal adaptation of the magical epic — and, of course, we said, “Yes!”
Honestly, after watching this trailer, I can safely say that this will probably be the FIRST video game inspired movie that I will watch. The characters actually look true to the story and the action isn’t campy like in SO many other VG movies we have seen. Let’s just PRAY that perhaps this is the opportunity for VG movies to prove themselves.

@aktrez, wow!! That’s probably the most expensive joke I’ve ever seen!! A pity it most probably isn’t true, because it has even more budget than the D&D movie!
I know! Maybe they can at least preview it at Comic Con to get a little buzz. I mean, Grayson is just a trailer too but, it’s AMAZING. Have you guys seen that?
As nice as the trailer looks. It still looks cheesy, like it was made for TV. Especially ganondorf’s beard hehe
o.o OMG that’s fantastic! I hope they finally take the risk and embark in a project to do the movie itself! I still keep faith, considering MGS:Philanthropy is being released this summer
If Nintendo and Sony had merged and Zelda was on Playstation in 98. This would have been the FMV intro.
If the Scifi channel had made a Zelda movie. This would be it.
If there was a Zelda TV show. This would be it.
If there was Zelda cereal. This would be the commercial.
If Uwe Boll had made a Zelda movie. This wouldn’t be it. It would look worse.
