As you’ve probably noticed, GEN has started a series of weekly features. So, with that said, I present my weekly feature: Patent Pending Thursday. Every Thursday, I’ll highlight both ridiculous and interesting patents filed with The United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Picking a game for you kids that is age appropriate can be daunting task. Not only do you have to think of the game’s content but also the simplicity of game controls and it’s overall difficulty. Finally the most important factor when picking a game to play with your kids, is this a game that I will actually have fun playing myself?
Facebook rose above the fast growing popularity of networking and friending sites. Against its major competitor, Myspace.com, Facebook.com offered unlimited and organizing photo albums, school, work and region based networking and an elite sense of membership. But what the site calls a convenience may be very inconvenient for you.
I am sure you are all sick of hearing at this point how much of a Top Cow fan girl I am. The enormous amount of talent they feature each month is not the only reason I am drawn to the comic company. I also continually pick up their titles because I love their characters that routinely walk on the dark side. While Wonder Woman and Superman deserve their respect - let’s face it - being good all the time gets old. I live for the tough choices, walking the thin line between right and wrong and the flaws that make characters more human.
I’ve never been a fan of gore, blood, or intense violence in any medium, be it movies, television, American comics, etc. Then I started reading manga …

As you may have noticed, we have started a bunch of features here at GEN, and the newest feature is Culture Club Tuesdays! Every Tuesday, I’ll highlight a little bit of geek culture - toys, fashion, movies, etc.
The very first Culture Club Tuesday will spotlight the undeniably cute phenomenon - Tokidoki. Tokidoki, which is Japanese means “sometimes”, was created by Italian graphic designer, Simone Legno, fueled by his love of Japanese culture.
