Word on the street is that this teaser trailer will be showing before The Dark Knight this weekend. If you already saw the midnight showing of The Dark Knight, then you already know what’s coming… the machines WILL be taking over by next summer (2009)!!
With so many “blockbuster” type movies coming out, it’s hard for me to keep my list of “must see’s” straight… but you can bet your patootie that I’ll be in line for tickets for this one!
Reason 1: It’s The Terminator. Whether or not Arnold comes back (even for a cameo) is of little importance to me. Most of us grew up knowing that judgment day would come sooner or late.
Reason 2: Christian Bale is in it! Ok, YES, he’s the perfect package if sweaty man muscle’s! That’s not the only reason he’s appealing though! He’s a GREAT actor… probably one of the best and most versatile out there!!
Reason 3: Helena Bonham Carter and Josh Brolin are in it… again, more great actors!

So, do you think T4 will OWN T3? Hahahaha *pfft*… what a silly question!
It was brought to my attention by Orionsaint that, Roland Kickinger, a body builder who used to train with Schwarzenegger will be donning the T-800 role! I’m curious to see if it fits! He does look similar to Schwarzenegger; he could pass as a cousin *haha*! His purpose is to establish the Terminators… but the question is, will he be able to pull it off? Um, I think so! His personal website is acting wacky at the moment, but here is his IMDB page if you’d like to check out some of his other credits!

Here’s the teaser clip for your enjoyment!!

I saw the Dark Knight last night and saw this, it was interesting to say the least. I can’t wait to see if Bale can pick up the franchise again after that epic fail known as T-3.
Ouch! I know… I really wanted to like T3 and I REALLY want to like T4…
So um, how did you get in to see the Dark Knight? Beau and I were thinking of going but we kept hearing that the lines were worse than Star Wars; that it’s complete pandemonium!
Word has it that Bale has agreed to a three movie deal with this franchise. Good bet that Bale would not have agreed to this unless he had a feeling the story would be good.
Another trailer of note was the Watchmen trailer. I see it now and I am even more interested in it than ever. Here is the trailer.

Awe, darn… I was gonna put that Watchmen trailer in an article *hehe*! It’s ok… I’ll still use it! I got teary-eyed when I saw it (thanks a lot Orionsaint)!
The Watchmen looks incredible! About the tickets, I was at work and called Kurt about tickets because everyone at the store was talking about it. Apparently they were sold out everywhere except one location with 2 screens left. Kurt got an error and when he tried it again, only one screen was left. We got to the theater and it was chaos, but only to those who didn’t preorder theirs. We passed the line that was a mile long and walked right into the theater.
??? @ Traycee
@ VK… Yeah, I pre ordered mine earlier in the week and I was glad I did. So many people who did not pre order where there trying to get tickets and it was near chaos cause so many had to be turned away.
I got teary-eyed because it looks so darn awesome!
*Ugh on tickets*
Oh. Okay. Yeah, it looks great. I can’t wait to see it in theaters.
You’re welcome Traycee, glad I could help.
I’m surprised no one posted about The Watchman trailer. It’s the most moving and inspiring trailer I’ve seen in years!
Traycee’s second post.
But yeah, that trailer looks great.
I liked T3… you give me Claire Danes and Kristanna Loken and I’ll like whatever you give me them in, any time, any day.
=P
T4 does look cool though, and Bale is a great actor.
I went and saw Batman and Wanted today. Both AMAZING movies! I am not sold on Terminator 4 yet, but having Bale on board makes me feel a bit better about the last one. He appears to have standards when it comes to movies…LOL
Hahaha @ Druidblue! I know what you mean though… I like “Class of 1999″ because Bradley Gregg is in it, and I used to have the BIGGEST crush on him!! Also, “Class of 1999″ tried to be like Terminator but failed… it’s still awesome though!!
Megs: I agree… he does seem to have standards when it comes to movies. To be honest, when I first really noticed him it was in “American Psycho”… and I thought he’d be keen to stick to roles like that. I like his new direction… I just thought he was… the serious type *haha*!
Here’s my thing with Bale: He needs to go to a dermatologist and have that thing on his nose/eye removed. I can’t stand tumor/masses like that on people’s faces!
Plus, think about Batman- even with the black eye paint, you can see that on the inside of his eye. Then you’d see Bruce Wayne with it in the same place and go, oooooh, billionaire who can afford all of Batman’s gadgets! Duuuuh.
=P
To be honest, when I first really noticed him it was in “American Psycho”…
Traycee - Here is where I call you out. I called him from Newsies, which was WAY Before American Psycho.
MINE MINE MINE.
Carry on.
Mandy: I know… cat’s out of the bag. However, I did get to kinda sort of meet him… so does this mean I get “sorta” dibs because he gave me “the look” after he caught me pointing him out to my sister *oops*?
Hahaha… ok, ok, it was worth a shot.
Not sold on T4. Hopeful its cool but T3 left a slightly bitter taste in peoples mouths and this new one has some changes from the original in terms of casting/directing that give me pause..
