I know what your probably thinking, “not another one of these things”. I assure you that it’s going to be far different from the stereotypical top 10’s filled with Zelda and Final Fantasy Characters. In my opinion allot of those are outdated and we are long overdue for a new list, with real next gen men. What I mean by that is all of the men on my list are VERY different looks and personalities, they are unique in each and every way. To top it off they don’t look like women, sorry to single you out there Final Fantasy characters, but you all look like women. Here are my top 10 video game hunks! This is something you won’t want to miss, you may be surprised at what I have in store.

10. Niko Bellic - Grand Theft Auto 4. It’s true, Niko may not be the most attractive looking guy, but his personality is what makes him number 10 on my list. The more and more I play into GTA4, the more I like Mr. Bellic. He’s sweet and charming, underneath a dangerous exterior.

9. Leon Kennedy - Resident Evil. He does his best to protect and serve while the city is overrun by zombies. He battles huge zombie mutants AND has to put up with Sherry, it’s all in a days work and that makes him number 9.

8. Carth Onasi - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Men hate him and women love him. Carth is the voice of reason, but no matter what you do he’s loyal enough to follow you where ever you go… even if it bugs the crap out of you.

7. Reno - Final Fantasy VII. Honestly, this spot was a tie between Reno and Rude primarily due to their roles in Advent Children. I did want a Final Fantasy character in this list, but I wanted it to go to an underdog. Reno has an awesome sense of humor, is slightly cocky, likes to pilot helicopters, and take long walks on the beach. Plus, he has good fashion sense.

6. Gordon Freeman - Half Life Series. Gordon doesn’t say much and he looks like House MD but, it takes a badass to carry nothing but a crowbar in a world filled with aliens. Armed with his trusty Antlion gland he’s ready for anything which helps him land my number 6. Plus, thick retro glasses are the in thing right now.

5. Altaïr - Assassins Creed. Okay so we don’t see much of his face, but if he looks anything like Desmond (which he does) then that scores him number 5 on my list. There is nothing more attractive than an assassin dressed in white. He is though as nails and I get all giddy when he dives off of all those buildings.

4. Solid Snake - Metal Gear Solid. I had to think long and hard about where Soild Snake was going to be on this list. He was one of my first video game crushes and that make him our number 4. I know what your thinking… “but he’s so OLD”… no I am talking about the original MGS snake. Not only did they clone him to make him perfect, but they cloned him as a perfect man.

3. Dante - Devil May Cry. Okay, so I said no stereotypes, but Dante deserves this spot. His has been in our hearts since Devil May Cry one and he never changes. He’s perfect and it takes a man with a good sense of humor to talk crap while fighting demons. On top of that his personality is top notch and it’s hard knowing that your the son of a powerful demon.

2. Jackie Estacado - The Darkness. From the comic books to the video game Mr. Estacado has always been one of my favorites. He’s a lover and a fighter, all he ever wanted was Jenny. A good man will always take care of his family even when his little old frail aunt is packing a 44. Life is hard for Jackie and it all went down on his 21st birthday, which makes him our family man at number 2.

1. Kaidan Alenko - Mass Effect. Kaidan may have been timid at first, but remember how satisfying it was to “get it on” in the Normandy that one fateful day. He’s kind hearted, sweet, a military man, and has also had it hard. Did I mention he’s also a huge catch? and he has the voice of Carth Onasi, what’s not to love. All of that makes Kaidan Alenko my number 1!
