The Creepy Cosplay Fanboy

For anyone who has ever been to a convention, you’ve met the “Creepy Fanboy”. There’s the Creepy Comic Fanboy, the Creepy Anime Fanboy, the Creepy Sci Fi Fanboy, the Creepy Enter-Anything-Here Fanboy. But my personal favorite is the Creepy Cosplay Fanboy. Mostly sweet and harmless, they’ve created some of the most memorable moments I’ve had during my convention going experience. So here is my tribute to the most misunderstood person at any convention!

*Please note: This is no negative knock to anyone in particular. It’s only meant for fun! In fact, I have a lot of creepy fanboy friends!…I wonder what that says about me…?

Oh, and don’t even act like you’re not impressed with my Adobe Photoshop skillz.

Hey Ms.Naru, I never knew I had met you before. LOL. Seriously though, I actually do own a shirt that has that on it. So Sad. I also have a messenger bag that reads “Hentai Free For 5 Days And Counting.” (With the 5 Days crossed out in red and replaced by “3 Minutes”).

LOL…your photoshop skills are impressive! Yeah, sometimes fanboys can get a bit out of hand at events, but since they are almost always harmless, I don’t mind! It makes me happy when people enjoy my cosplay!

I agree though, peverted cosplay fanboys are not so great…

OH, you forgot “gunk of uknown origin” sprinkled over his shoulders/ stuck to his glasses. As well as the very back of his hairline (by the neck) sopping wet with sweat.

I guess how many cosplayers or even con visitors should wear that “Hentai inside” shirt, even if they aren’t exactly “creepy cosplay fanboys”… O_o’

I just have to make sure I never act like this
Everytime I attend a convention I usually am coming from the office so I wear my business suit with a a white dress shirt and my black nike sneakers, for comfort
Cosplayers are made of very strong will to walk all day in those un-comfortable boots and high heels, too

Nah, I am not the perverted ones. I am a little to happy to meet people and can be overly friendly, but that is about it. And trust me, I am not a glomper.
