A community of men & women who embody the next generation of pop culture
I have scoured the net and compiled my favorite images of pop-culture related body paint art.
Having already covered Cortana, Ghost in the Shell and Darth Talon I decided to do a little more research and find some of the best body painting work on the web. Not only are the models extremely gorgeous and fit (ONLY wearing a layer of paint mind you) the artists are also extremely talented in their portrayals of these pop-culture characters.
Here is a refresher of the three that GEN has covered previously:

CORTANA

Ghost in the Shell

Darth Talon
We now bring you the gallery of body painting masterpieces (click to enlarge photos)

Big Ms. Marvel fan here, so it is no surprise that I like that one. I also love the Kitana and Mara Jade ones as well. But the Toki Doki and Night Sky ones are freaking cool as well. Then the Cheetara one is cool.
They may not be The Best, but I think this this group is cute. Also, Rogue!
I just love bodypainting. The human body can be a work of art as is, and if you have a wonderful painter, the possibilities are endless. I’ve always had such an interest in it that I was gifted an airbrush kit last Yule. Now all I need is to get my butt in enough shape to be able to wear the paint like they do. *laughs*
Thanks for the great pictures!
They say the best research is to actually become part of what you’re researching, to better understand it of course. Aktrez you’ll have to bodypaint
A Canadian magazine called Summum did a superhero shoot a while ago, art by the ever-awesome Alex Hansen. Click current pic for larger view.

WOW, those are freaking cool! Thanks for the man-candy in the group as well…LOL
Ha.. oh yea… even the men can have amazing art! And Orion, when I lose about 20lbs and tone up…. (OH, and get fake boobs) I’d LOVE to do this!!!
Thanks utsumi99 for the additions! While I”m not a fan of the MASSIVE photoshop job they did on these… they are gorgeous! Definitely amazing. I love the texture it seems they used. I have NO idea how they did that.

Yup, this guy’s faux fabric effect is amazing. He’s got lots of great comic book-y painted costumes and armor in his other galleries, but I think these are the only two official comic characters he’s done.
Came across a few more by a cosplayer/model/geek-ette who sounds like she would fit right in on your staff. ^_^
