Available on DVD September 16, 2008… Death Note the live action movie! However, I’m willing to bet that you can find this in your local Chinatown/Little Tokyo (heh)…

I’ve known of this for awhile, but haven’t been able to watch the series until now! So yeah, I’m pretty excited to see the movie since I’m already in love with the story! Oh, did I mention that there are 2 of them? Yes, part 1 & 2! Part 2 will be coming soon! Click here for more info.!
Another reason to be HAPPY? Tatsuya Fujiwara (who also stars in BATTLE ROYALE as Shuya Nanahara) is playing Light (he’s one of my favorites)!
I also found out that there will be an American release of Death Note in 2010. It’s funny… there are SO many remakes coming out and I’m starting to lose A LOT of faith in the creative wheels that is Hollywood. I mean, why remake this? It’s still relevant! I’ll admit, I’d be curious to see how it turns out… just like I’d be curious to see how I’d do in a hot dog eating contest… and I don’t even eat pork! BLEH!
A little something for you to salivate over.

Awe that’s too bad! I really like Tatsuya as an actor.
Oh well, it’s ok. I’m sure I’ll like it anyway.
