Anime Tattoos: The good, the OK….. and the bad

People all of over the world get them, whether it’s for a rite of passage or just plain adornment.

People get tattoos for many reasons. They can represent a memorial, a road map of one’s life, chapters being opened or closed… whatever the reason, the worst reason to get one is, “because it’s pretty!” or, “because it looks cool!” If you’re going to get one, make it a good one!

THE GOOD (amazing details, lines, and color)

THE OK (the lines and colors may be ok, but the overall effect and proportions are a bit sloppy)

THE BAD (baaaaaad… please research an artists’ work BEFORE letting him/her ruin what could have been amazing)

Cool article. I was actually just contemplating what to do for my 6th tattoo (which makes it sound like I’m all crazy tatted up, but 4 of them are small).

I had considered doing the Zelda triforce shield.. but I’m not sure. I’m also considering something Mayan inspired.

I haven’t decided!

Yeah, I am still on the fence as to getting one or not. If I do not get one by Nov 3, I will never get one. But if I do, I have a design for magical protection seals that would go on both forearms. Figure if I get one, I might as well make it worth it.

I saw a triforce tat on someones hand and it was so awesome! I couldn’t find it or else I would’ve posted it (shucks)!

I’m thinkin’ of getting my 5th one on my left hand…. from Harry Potter “I must not tell lies” in red ink (hahaha)!

Im thinkin the triforce shield on my chestish, like right where your ribs hit together between the boobs, i mean, your body already forms a triangle there anyways.
